Blunt eye scissors help surgeons in ophthalmic surgeries during the dissection of delicate tissues as well as other diagnostic procedures. Blunt operating scissors are more often used for cutting materials such as sutures, tubing, or gauze. There are straight tips for superficial dissection and cutting, straight slender tips for more narrow fields. Curved tips for deeper dissections, and curved slender tips for deeper, narrow fields.
